I’ve been getting really into Stop Motion films lately, I really love them as a medium.
I’ve just seen an amazing stopmotion video - a guy in LA took 2 photos of himself (front and back) every day for 17 years.
That’s dedication!
I love watching him get fat then thin, hair get long then [...]
Element Bars have just launched a site where you can make your own protein/power/nutrition bars by picking your ingredients from the website and buying them in packs of 36.
It’s a great idea as I don’t like the commercial nutrition bars available - they are always too sweet and make me feel sick as I [...]
I am in total awe of this job ad from Murder Burger in NZ, as photographed by Flickr user Noface2.
The full sized image is here.
I wish that 1) I could write like that, and 2) that I worked there. They sound like fun.
When we made the t-shirts, we decided we wanted a funky little label sewn on, not anything screen-printed. So we ordered some funky little labels, and the label company asked if we’d like them sewn into the shirts for an extra 95c each.

This video of a Photoshop genius making a fat (err… Rubenesque) girl thin is a really cool example of the capabilities of Photoshop.

Mr Jetley said he first realised his security password had been changed when a call centre staff member told him his code word [...]
The NYT has an incredibly patronising article today about advertising to women, by women.
The gist of it - women can now read and write and some of them can blog. But women only read blogs written by other women because we only like talking about motherhood, shopping and celebrities. (I’m paraphrasing here).
There are [...]
My laptop’s airport card died the other day - I just couldn’t get a wireless connection, and it said I had no airport card installed.
So I made an appointment to see a genius at the Genius Bar at the new Apple shop in Sydney. It couldn’t be easier to book an appointment, it was [...]
The Financial Times in the UK has just proved to me once and for all that finance types who read/write the Financial Times will never understand the “open web” or the concept of sharing, communities or being a better person.
Someone has written in to the FT with a concern:
I run a national retail [...]
We’ve had a subscription to Time Out Sydney magazine since they launched late last year. Not only is it a great way of planning our social life but it also has great Sydney photos thanks to Dan’s awesome photography.
But we’ve had problems with the subscription for most of the time we’ve had it. We [...]
