Some happy news this week with the announcement of an Ignite event down in Melbourne called Ignite Web.
If you hadn’t heard about Ignite Sydney, it’s the same concept. A presentation night with talks lasting 5 minutes, with 20 slides, 15 seconds per slide. I had a really great night at the Sydney event and saw some of the best presentations that made me laugh and made me think and left me feeling inspired.
Presentations are going to be web focused for the Melbourne event so start thinking about your killer topic.
Ignite Web in Melbourne is on 1st April at the Apartment in Bourke St. Thought of something interesting to talk about? Go and submit your topic, or just register to attend. It’s going to be a great night.
Ignite Web is brought to you by Web Directions and (disclaimer) we helped out with the web site so, as usual, I’m completely biased and this is not an impartial post. I still think it’s going to be an awesome event, especially if the quality of the Sydney presenters and audience is anything to go by.
And finally, a little treat.
