Vanity search on steroids

We’ve all googled ourselves to see what comes up. If you haven’t, you’re either much less vain than me or probably not really into the whole internet thing.

CVGadget is like googling yourself but with steroids.

You not only get the results in the regular Google search, but it also aggregates results from Google Images, Documents, Facebook, MySpazz, Linkedin, Bebo and more.

It’s a great quick way to do a quick people search, especially as it gives information upfront that would take a few clicks to find from those sites (such as Facebook).

What I want to know is why there are so many middle aged white men when I look up myself on Google Images?

When I used it I got a bunch of cartoon characters and political types…but not me!

You got a photo of Gordon Brown - I got John Allsopp.

Wihch is funny, because if you do a search for John Allsopp, you get someone who looks like the Queen Mum.

It’ll never work for me. My name matches a reasonably well know actor, a lead reporter for the Irish Times, a guy that works at Skype and a bunch of others.

I think I’ll change it! Suggestions?
