Molt:n Digital redesign

Molt:n Digital is not new, we have been around for quite sometime working away silently in the background. When our 9-5 jobs wrapped up each day we would come home and work away on small jobs, take client phone calls on lunch breaks and occasionally attend the odd conference representing our small, soon-to-be web agency.

Well, we are here now, working full-time with nothing else to distract us from the job(s) ahead. One of the first steps for me to officially feel as if we are starting this journey was to redesign the old website.

This old website, dubbed the “SxSW Hack” was put together in about 3 hours one late evening in March 2007, the night before I boarded a plane to Austin, Texas. Here we attended and spoke at South by Southwest, alongside thousands of other international geeks and felt we just had to have something online that represented us.

It was not supposed to last as long as it did, but these things tend to happen to your own projects. Constantly being pushed aside for client work or other priorities, the “SxSW Hack” managed to survive for well over a year, until I finally couldn’t bear it any longer.

This new design should really be called the completed, first design. The logos and initial concepts that we came up with over a year ago are still in intact, it just happens to be a little more polished and provides a bit more information about us to potential clients.

For those of you reading through our RSS feed, have a look and let us know what you think. We would love to hear feedback on what works and what doesn’t.

There is definitely more to come. Some of the items are still unfinished to me but as mentioned before I think this will always be the case for your own work. The essentials are now live though, which is most important to me and I no longer have to look at the “SxSW Hack” :-)
