I want google street view driving directions

This video is one of the most exciting developments in street view that I’ve seen.

I can’t wait for this to launch in Sydney. I hate looking out for street signs as I’m driving, or trying to figure out how far down the road my destination is when I’m looking for specific buildings, restaurants, etc and I don’t really know the area. I love how you can see any buildings around the area, scout out for any street parking or no right turn signs.

I know some people are wary about the privacy issues with street view but I think this is going to be a really useful service (as long as the street view camera doesn’t catch me with my knickers hanging out).
