yes, I agree. Strange search design too! the results should have been a lot more forgiving - I would have thought charger was a reasonable synonym for adapter in this case!

And when you compare it to the sophisticated search interface on apple.com (which is quite different to what you find on the UK site) - we non-US Apple customers are getting a pretty degraded experience!

Leisa - yeah living in Australia we get pretty used to having a degraded experience on most sites. I hardly bother shopping online anymore as I know I’ll get all excited and add loads of things to my shopping basket, go through 5 steps of check-out and then find they either don’t ship outside of the US or it costs US$50 for shipping.
